Operating Instructions

This appliance is intended for

household use only.

This appliance may have a polarized plug

(one blade is wider than the other). As a

safety feature, this plug will fit in a

polarized outlet only one way. If the plug

does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the

plug. If it still does not fit, contact a

qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to

defeat this safety feature.

Ceramic

Ceramic is professionally preferred for

its high heat that preserves hair’s natural

moisture for styles without frizz. The

easy-to-clean plates emit high, constant

heat to penetrate hair follicles quickly and

retain natural moisture while minimizing

damage for soft, luxurious styles.

Straightening and Smoothing

• Straightening and smoothing irons

should be used only on clean, dry hair.

• Plug the straightener into an electrical

outlet and slide the power On / Off

switch to the “On” position.

CAUTION: This straightener operates at

high temperatures. Test on a small

section of hair first. Please read all

instructions carefully before using.

1. Separate a 1-inch section of hair. Gently

place hair between the hot smoothing

plates and clamp down firmly on the

handles.

2. Carefully slide the straightener along the

isolated section, making sure the hair is

heated and straightened all the way to

the ends. You will achieve professional

results if you work from the scalp to the

ends of your hair. The ends will

probably require less heat than the hair

that grows closer to the scalp.

3. Leave the straightener in fine hair for 5

to 8 seconds and for 10 to 15 seconds

in thick hair.

4. Carefully release pressure on the

handles and let hair slip out from the

plates.

5. The smoothing process does not

require overlapping; separate each

section of hair and repeat the process

until you have achieved the look you

desire.

6. When styling is complete, turn the

straightener off by sliding the power

On / Off switch to the “Off” position,

unplug it from the electrical outlet, and

let it cool completely before storing.

7. Allow hair to cool before combing,

brushing, or touching.

Cerámica

La cerámica es prefereida por los

profesionales por la suavidad con que

trata el cabello aún con el alto calor que

desprende. El cabello persevera la

humedad natural y el resultado es estilos

lasios. Los placas emiten alto y constante

calor que penetra el el folículo rapidamente

y retienen la humedad natural, al mismo

tiempo reducen el daño al cabello creando

suaves y lujosos estilos.

Alisado y suavizado

• Las pinzas de alisado y suavizado deben

usarse sólo con el cabell limpio y seco.

• Enchufe el alisador en un tomacorriente

eléctrico y deslice el interruptor “On /

Off” (encendido / apagado) a la posición

de encendido. La luz indicadora de

alimentación se iluminará.

ADVERTENCIA: Este alaciador opera a

temperatures altas. Pruebelo en una

porción pequeña de cabello antes de

usarlo. Lea todas las instruciones

cuidadosamente previo al uso.

1. Separe una sección de cabello de 1

pulgada (2.5 cm). Coloque suavemente

el cabello entre las placas calientes y
